Explain to me what kind of people would not want murderers put to death? My only answer would be other murderers. Any sane person would have them dead on the spot where they killed the person they care about. How can a group of people who murder a man, bound at the wrists and ankles, not be sentanced to death. A man, currently in his right mind, not fighting, bound by arms and legs, murdered in the interrogation room of a police station. How could this go without penalty of death? It is a great injustice, that our own protectors, policemen of the United States, the safest country in the world, would beat an innocent man, with no urge to fight, to death. Just think about this the next time you go off on your blind, self-righteous rant about how the death penalty is wrong. You should shut your mouth for a while, and open your eyes. Your tune will change in time. I wish it wouldn't have to, but it will.
